Virginia Bluebells: Mertensia virginiana

I believe I’ve identified these correctly as Virginia Bluebells: Mertensia virginiana. Saw them Sunday night in the woods while fly fishing Oatka Creek. They are popular in the woods, and look great in big numbers. Further reading indicates though that they all but disappear in June, leaving big holes in a wild flower garden.
