Letchworth State Park – Inchworm

While I was shooting some fall scenes at Letchworth State Park, we happened upon this little fellow making his way along a picnic table.  This is a scenario where it would have been great to have a macro lens available, but since it was my first day out with a DSLR, I just haven’t geared up enough.

A good macro lens is my one must have item right now, since I plan on shooting insects on trout streams next spring.

Our inchworm was kind enough to do a little modeling though.
